A: Yes. Lynnhaven Academy is accredited by the AdvancED Accreditation Commission, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, NCA Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, & the Northwest Accreditation Commission. Lynnhaven is also an accredited member of the Virginia Council for Private Education and the National Association of Independent Schools.

Q: Does Lynnhaven have sports teams or clubs
A: Lynnhaven teachers sponsor an Archery Team. and Tennis Team. Clubs are typically student run and student inspired!
Q: Do you offer Art?
A: Yes. Middle school students take art as part of their core courses. It is a required elective in Upper School.
Q: How do you deal with discipline?
A: Lynnhaven utilizes a progressive discipline approach. Please visit the parent section and review the Parent and Student Handbook

A: We currently do not require a uniform. We do however implement a dress code.

A: Lynnhaven is a community. It's common for students to attend sporting events together and school sponsored activities. Lynnhaven hosts social events throughout the year.
